Building Business Capacity | Business Advisory

Our referral partner Business Advisory South West and Peel celebrated their first anniversary just three months ago – and with 15 months of helping of small businesses under their belt, they’re going strong.

Business Advisory is a government-funded service, providing free business consultations and free workshops to local people across the South West and Peel regions.

Business Advisory workshops deal with a diverse range of topics from accounting through to marketing, employment and human resources. These workshops add value to businesses by up-skilling small business owners in the areas they need to make their business a success.

BHR Papalia have partnered with Business Advisory from the outset. BHR team members including Kiko Willers and Reon Tither run ongoing workshops for Business Advisory on Xero, End of Financial Year, and other topics useful to small business owners.   

Business Advisors Jasmine Porter, Julie Broad and Sana Turnock celebrated Business Advisory's first birthday in July.

​Running a business requires a whole range of skills that often have nothing to do with the actual product, which makes this kind of support invaluable to small business owners. We’ve seen some great results already through Business Advisory, and are looking forward to seeing many more businesses in our community take advantage of this service to build the capacity and skills needed to grow and flourish.
