BHR Papalia are proud to partner with numerous local businesses who are excelling in their industries and making an impact on their communities. This month we would like to spotlight Resurfacing South West, a local business owned and operated by Kevin and Rachel Wells, that puts a big focus on being environmentally friendly and on seeing happy customers.
Tell us a bit about your business? Kevin Wells is a cabinet maker with more than 20 years of experience. Backed up by Rachel, he resurfaces kitchens, bathrooms, tiles, wall tiles, and can modify kitchens to complement their new surfaces. He is a proud member of Resurfacing Australia, Australia’s leading network of independent resurfacers, and the product he uses has been featured on Selling Houses Australia and House Rules.
“It’s a more cost-effective way to redo kitchens and bathrooms without spending too much money,” he said.
“It’s also better on the environment, because you’re not creating too much waste.”
What does BHR Papalia do for you? BHR Papalia attend all of Resurfacing South West's accounting needs, ensure their compliance with taxation laws and support the business in reaching their goals.
"They do all the tricky stuff,” Kevin said.
“They helped me to set up Xero, and work with me to make sure I get everything right. It’s good to have them help me out – I just give Reon a call, he’s happy to help us out all the time.”
What have been your achievements or highlights from the past 12 months? “I just love doing kitchens and bathrooms up for people, not having them have to spend a fortune, and seeing how happy they are with the finished product,” Kevin said.
“I enjoy the one on one with clients, and being my own boss is a good thing – working for myself I get to do a job I’m passionate about and have the flexibility to spend more time with family.”
